Remarkable Women Initiative
Each year, I help lead my station’s participation in the Remarkable Women initiative, a nationwide campaign that highlights and honors women making meaningful impacts in their communities.
For this cycle, I co-wrote a feature article on Kyah Spriggs and her nonprofit, collaborating with a station contractor to produce a story that authentically captured her mission and local impact. Alongside editorial work, I developed a full suite of branded digital assets, including social media graphics and Facebook Story visuals, to support audience engagement across platforms.
I also managed sponsored social campaigns, strategically tagging community partners and organizations to expand reach and strengthen cross-promotional visibility. A key focus of this campaign was driving audience conversion from digital platforms to broadcast, using targeted messaging and timing to encourage viewers to tune in on-air.
Additionally, I aligned campaign messaging with Women’s History Month, leveraging its cultural significance to deepen audience connection and elevate the visibility of the Remarkable Women program.
This project required cross-market collaboration, as stations nationwide worked in sync to maintain a unified campaign while highlighting local honorees.
